Terms of service

Conditions for using kajpa.pl and electronic services — newsletter, forms, Quick calculator. Implementation agreements are concluded separately.

Last updated: April 18, 2026Version: v1.0

Definitions

  • Service Provider — Kacper Popko, operating a sole proprietorship under the trade name "Kajpa," NIP 9662222951, ul. Zastawie I 37, 16-070 Choroszcz, Poland. Email: [email protected].
  • Website — the internet resource available at kajpa.pl including its subdomains.
  • User — any natural person using the Website, whether browsing anonymously, filling in the contact form, or subscribing to the newsletter.
  • Service — functionality of the Website provided electronically: content browsing, contact/brief form, newsletter subscription, Quick calculator.

Conditions of use

Using the Website is free of charge and requires no registration. For correct rendering you need a modern browser (Chrome 120+, Firefox 120+, Safari 17+, Edge 120+) with JavaScript and "necessary" category cookies enabled.

The following are prohibited:

  • automated content retrieval (scraping, crawling other than by public search engines) without our express permission,
  • submitting form messages with unlawful, offensive, or defamatory content, or intended to distribute spam,
  • attempting to bypass security measures, exhaust resources (DoS), or access administrative areas.

Violation of the above results in temporary or permanent access blocking from the given IP address / fingerprint — without prior notice.

Conclusion of the service agreement

The agreement for electronic service provision is concluded:

  • on browsing — at the moment the first page loads, for the duration of the visit; the agreement terminates upon leaving the Website,
  • on contact/brief submission — at the moment the form is sent, for the duration of the correspondence,
  • on newsletter signup — in two stages: (1) email entry, (2) confirmation via link sent to that email. The agreement continues until consent withdrawal (the "unsubscribe" link in every email).

None of the above result in a paid agreement. All services are provided free of charge.

Liability

The Website is provided "as-is." We apply due care to keep content accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted availability (maintenance windows may cause minutes of downtime; provider infrastructure failures are outside our control),
  • completeness and timeliness of blog posts and case studies — they are educational and reflective material, not legal, financial, or technical advice to be acted upon without individual analysis.

The Service Provider's liability toward the User using the Website's free services is limited to damages caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence (Art. 473 §2 of the Polish Civil Code — limitation permissible for free services).

Copyright

All content on the Website — text, photos, graphics, code, visual identity — is subject to copyright owned by the Service Provider or by licensors from whom it holds a license. Fair personal use (Art. 23 of the Polish Copyright Act) covers: browsing, saving the page to disk, printing for personal use, citing with source attribution (link to the Website page). Copying entire articles onto other websites, translating, or publishing under another brand — requires separate written consent.

Code from case studies discussed on the blog is published under the MIT license unless the post indicates otherwise.

Complaints

Complaints regarding the Website (bugs, form malfunctions, access outages) should be submitted by email to [email protected] with subject "Complaint" and a description of the issue. We respond within 14 days. If a complaint cannot be resolved within that period, we inform you of the reason and the new deadline — no longer than an additional 14 days.

Out-of-court dispute resolution

The consumer has the right to use:

Use of these paths is voluntary — judicially resolved disputes are heard by the common court competent under the general provisions of the Polish Code of Civil Procedure.

Changes to the terms

The terms are versioned. Changes take effect upon publication of the new version, unless the new version specifies a later effective date. If you do not accept the changes, stop using the Website — there is no "stay on the old version" mechanism.

Governing law and language

These terms are governed by Polish law. In matters not regulated herein, the Polish Civil Code and the Act on Providing Services Electronically apply accordingly. The Polish version is the original — the English translation is for information; in case of discrepancy, the Polish version prevails.
